Roulette for Breakfast - Roulette Vegas

It's that time of year when the annual cycling convention rolls into
town.  My guy friend is a huge cycling afficionado so I was invited
along for the "ride".
A Sweet Suite in the Bellagio was the weekend's launching pad.  After
a complimentary gorge on chocolates and nibbles my man departs for the
Convention Centre to check out the latest gears and gadgets and I'm
off to "try my luck" as they say.  It's 9:00am and I've always said,
the best way to jump start your day is a healthy breakfast.  I opt for
the Bloody Mary with a side celery. The combination tomato juice and
celery, although not organic, seems like the perfect way to achieve
that "get up and go" required to be a "winner" and
It's now 10:00am and I've downed 2 healthy breakfasts and am now
comfortably spinning alongside the clickety-clack of the roulette
wheel.  To be "one with the universe" will certainly improve your
odds.  It's important to take note of the Golden Rules of Roulette.
Rule No. 1.  NEVER, never, under any circumstance, mess with your
numbers, cuz the minute you do, well, you know the drill.  Rule No. 2,
it's wise to play 00 at all times.  The pay off is extra special and
it will always hit the minute you forget to bet it.  I usually begin
with a conservative donation to the cause of $100 and divide the board
up into Birthday Nos, 5, 10, and 18 for good luck, and of course the
00.  For fear of losing too quickly, the betting amounts remain pretty
conservative, but on this particular morning with the double breakfast
under my belt, I'm feeling rather euphoric.  I've got $5 on the other
nos. and I've unwittingly mistaken my $25 dollar chip for a $10 chip
and contributed 2 chips to the 00.  These mistakes are often
occupational hazards when one is feeling as health minded as I am.
The chips are scattered across the table......No more bets.  Our
dealer, Bradley, spins the wheel.  It's an endless spin and beginning
to feel a lot like Spiro-Graphs, but I feel in my soul that the cosmos
has aligned, even as early as 10:00 in the morning.  Slowly, slowly,
the ball takes it's final bounces from jackpot to jackpot and what do
you know........00.   That's $50 multiplied by 35 with a pay out of
$1,750.  If I wasn't so loopy, the shock of it all would have
registered more clearly.
Rule No. 3: There's just no substitute for a "well balanced breakfast"
before playing Roulette.
