Gambling Pool Side Looking for Love Before Returning to the Tables

No matter how devoted you are to the cause, every gambler needs a little REPRIEVE from the "action", to regroup and rewind or else self-destruction will ensue.  This is the law of nature and one must never mess with nature.  The Venetian in Vegas offers all the bells and whistles of casino chaos, but as i said before, there comes a time when one must press the PAUSE button and hit the beach -- Tao Beach, that is.  I've seen a lot of beach parties in my time....South Beach, Laguna Beach, Frishman Beach, Volcanic Santorini Beach,  even Thailand's beaches, but none come close to Tao Beach at the Venetian.   How, you might ask, can this be when there's no ocean or sea glistening in the background, and quite honestly, there ain't no beach.  I assure you, the waves are large, the sun is beaming and the crowd is in full beach mode. 

All that's required are your flip flops, swim wear, dark shades and sunscreen. This is Tao Beach party, Sunday afternoons on the rooftop, during the summer months, and I assure you, it doesn't disappoint.  Once you've made your way through the long corridor where you're screened for entry, you suddenly enter this Ballanese inspired oasis, complete with tangerine curtained cabanas, and Zen Buddha statuettes throughout to emote that perfect chillout vibe.  The House music is flowing, alongside a rogue trumpeter or two, and many colourful cocktails stream by delivered by tanned, buxomed, bikinied Taoettes.  There's a hot tub situated near the back bar for those who require that extra bubbly to their scene, but it's so flippin hot anyway, who needs the extra heat.  The lovely size pool complete with giant sized reclining Budhhas offers that full body cool off from the scorching sun and writhing bods that spontaneously groove throughout, but where pray tell is the gambling.  It's still there, but just a few floors down.  Tao Beach is a gambler's oasis from the chaos of the tables.  It offers just enough Re-prieve to allow you to Re-lax,  Re-cline, and Re-Groove before you Re-turn. And maybe finding a hot piece of ASS for a couple of hours of entertainment before I hit the table hard again.
